What does the Reflective Conservatoire Conference have to do with #SciComm?

Well, a lot, we think! Their new call for "artists as citizens", resonates with how we think two things are developing in society.

The first is the rise of citizen science and, in this area, artists are contributing a lot already in terms of public involvement methodologies and a wider role as translator, interpreter, and discoverer in many projects.

The second is the growing involvement of artists in the scientific process. We’ve noticed this a lot over the last few years, so you could do a lot worse than hopping along to this meeting to see what it’s all about!
