Women in STEM #GoBeyond

The #GoBeyond event launched successfully, opening with a warm welcome from host Claire-Marie Boggiano and an introduction by Annalu Waller, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the School of Science, Engineering & Environment. The event featured an inspiring keynote from Marieke Navin, Head of Programming at the Cheltenham Science Festival. 💥

The Go Beyond STEM Celebration is a dynamic mini-conference created for female #STEM students, proudly supported by the Morson Group STEM Foundation, which underpins our Maker Space led by Dr Maria Stukoff. It brings together industry panels that provide valuable career insights and practical guidance on entering the STEM sector, helping to strengthen connections between students and professionals. The event is designed to inspire, inform, and empower the next generation.

Special thanks were extended to Rachel Norton for organising the conference, as well as to the Morson Maker Space and the many supporters and contributors, including Gemma Lace, NorthWest Women in STEM, Haifa Takruri, Marina Leontiadou, Jacqui Jones, Morson Praxis, Claire Scott, and Saba Khan. 🎗️
