House of Commons debate on Digital

This week, Professor Andy Miah spoke at a House of Commons debate on Democracy in a Digital Age, in an event supported by Tom Brake MP. The discussion was produced by GlobalNet21 and the London Futurists and covered a wide range of areas, aiming to inform policy with new solutions around the use of digital within society. 

Speaking after the event, Professor Miah said:

"So much of our lives have been transformed by digital technologies that we need new ways of thinking about who we are, how we engage as citizens, and what governments need to be doing to ensure that nobody is left behind."

Professor Miah is also a member of the Scottish Government's Ministerial Advisory Group for Digital Participation and his work.
