Wellcome Global Monitor

The Wellcome Global Monitor is the world’s largest study into how people around the world think and feel about science and major health challenges. It surveys over 140,000 people from more than 140 countries.

It reveals findings about global attitudes to science and health and is aimed at researchers, funders, policy makers, science communicators and public engagement practitioners.

The key findings include that doctors and nurses are the most trusted for health advice and that there is a significant gap between men and women in terms of what they say they know about science. It has further insights in terms of how safe and effective vaccines are.
