Dr Gary Kerr #SMASHfestUK

This week, Dr Gary Kerr joined SMASHfestUK as science communication & public engagement trainer. Gary spent the day working with 30 apprentices from Transport for London, training them on communication, presenting skills and working with children.

They spent the day developing their skills so that they can go out and confidently spread their enthusiasm for engineering and showcase the diversity of people and careers within the sector.

In addition, Gary spent the evening training over 50 festival volunteers in interactive/performative science communication and sharing his top 10 tips for working at a science festival.
