Young Science Reporters #ESOF16

During the European Science Open Forum, we assembled a team of Young Science Reporters from the student population at Salford University and secondary school pupils at UTC Bolton. Together, we gave them a glimpse of what life is like as a science journalist, drawing on expertise from the Salford University Senior Press Officer Gareth Hollyman, and colleagues in science communication, Dr Erinma Ochu and Dr Gary Kerr.

Together with Professor Andy Miah and support from the ESOF Steering Group, they covered a range of stories throughout the week, including the Blue Dot festival, the so-called 'Glastonbury' of the science world. Here are some of their reports..
